Out of Hours
When the surgery is closed you will automatically be advised to NHS 111. Calls to and from this number are recorded and the recording is retained. Calls to NHS 111 are assessed and you will be passed on to the most relevant service. The local Out of Hours service is provided by IC24. If the problem is such that it cannot wait until the surgery next opens then, unless a home visit is needed on medical grounds, you will be asked to attend one of the clinical bases near you. Attendance is by appointment only.
